Your choices
Optional tracking uses your consent. It starts only after you choose it. Rejecting or withdrawing consent does not restrict your use of Minerva. In the main app, use Settings > Privacy. You can also use the controls on this page to change your choices. Choices apply to this browser and website, and expire after 180 days.
Closing the banner does not give consent.
Privacy choices
We use essential cookies for sign-in and to save your choices. You can use Minerva without optional tracking. With your permission, PostHog in the EU helps us understand usage.
Optional tracking is currently off.
In the main app, change or withdraw consent through Settings > Privacy. You can also change your choices on the privacy notice page. Withdrawal stops optional tracking and creates a request to delete the related PostHog data. Read the privacy and cookie notice.
What PostHog receives
Usage analytics: page categories, feature-use events and counts, error counts, session identifiers, and your account ID or a random consent ID. We do not send your email, URL queries, project IDs in URLs, user content, prompts, file content, AI responses, or raw error messages. Automatic click event capture and IP geolocation are disabled.
Session replay: with the same analytics consent, PostHog records page layout, clicks, and scrolling to help us find usability problems. Recordings show fixed interface labels, such as navigation and button text. User content and all inputs stay masked. Images, media, canvas content, network request content, and console logs are excluded.
PostHog is our processor for usage analytics and session replay. We use its EU service. See PostHog’s privacy information and its subprocessors.
These choices control usage data sent to PostHog. The data processing needed to provide the app continues when optional tracking is off.
Cookies and browser storage
Clerk uses necessary storage to sign you in and protect your session. Minerva stores your theme preference and a minerva_privacy cookie to remember and verify your privacy choices for 180 days. This cookie contains a random consent ID, the choices, their time, and the notice version.
After analytics consent, PostHog keeps tracking identifiers in memory and a consent flag in browser storage. We clear PostHog storage when you withdraw consent. We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention and withdrawal
We record each choice with its time and notice version to show what you agreed to. Withdrawal stops new optional collection and records a deletion request for the related PostHog data. Requests already sent cannot be recalled from the network. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing before it.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or a portable copy of your personal data. You can withdraw consent at any time and complain to your local data protection authority.
